Pushing hard, I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince before the final book comes out tonight. This makes a two weeks of intensive Potter after pretty much ignoring him for a couple of years. I read the fifth book, saw the movie, went to a Harry and the Potters concert and read the sixth book. Tonight, I'll be at the Mall of America's Barnes and Noble Potter-a-thon, which will start at 9:30 (when the store and the Mall normally close) and go until midnight when they can sell the seventh and final (?) book, and last until everyone who wants a book has a chance to buy it. With iPod and camera, I'll make a podcast of the event, and maybe a shorter report for KFAI. Oh, and read the book.
Quick review of Half-Blood Prince: Great! I was disappointed in the fifth book, but the sixth is back on track, only moreso.
And speaking of Harry and the Potters, another picture from the concert. Before the band started, the kids were having fun at the park. Edited per Peg. pegkerr at lower right, Corwin in red in the foreground, with Delia on Meren and Fiona on Sydney.
