Term Limits imposed by G_d

I want the current crop of ultra-right GOP gone from the national scene and punished for their sins as much as anyone... but The Divine is beating me to it.

Today, Sept. 5, 2007, two Republican Representatives died: Current Ohio Rep. Paul Gillmor and former Rep. Jennifer Dunn. This comes not a few months after the ghouls on the right desperately tried to make Democrat Sen. Tim Johnson's illness worse than it was, followed by the expected death of Republican Sen. Craig Thomas in June.

While I disagree with their politics, I mourn the loss of these people and wish the best to their families and loved ones.

The cluster of deaths is probably a coincidence. Some leaped on the death of Wellstone. Still, it seems that the party who ran on G_d's coattails is getting hit pretty hard. In the same way that the Heartland Perverts who voted for Clinton's impeachment turn out to be sexual slimeballs (Gingrich, Livingston, now Craig, et al), those on the right seem to have lost their will to live. I hope G_d has more mercy on them than I.

Hmm... am I missing anyone?
